About Main Street Marketer
Helping local service businesses become trusted institutions in the communities they serve.
The local businesses that thrive for decades aren’t always the ones with the biggest ad budgets.
The ones that win are the ones people know, trust, and choose—the kind of businesses that become woven into the fabric of the communities they serve.
That’s what Main Street Marketer is built around.
Unlike most marketing agencies, we don’t just focus on generating more leads and clicks.
We help local businesses build authority, earn trust, and become the obvious choice in their market.
how we do it
Using the VITAL Marketing Framework, we look at five stages of your marketing system: Visibility, Interest, Trust, Alignment, and Loyalty.
Then we identify the biggest constraint and build around what will move the business forward first.
The goal is simple: help your business become known, trusted, and chosen instead of compared.
How Main Street Marketer Started
If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably wondering how Main Street Marketer came to be.
My fascination with marketing, entrepreneurship, and human behavior began in Washington, D.C., where I taught business management and the principles of Market-Based Management®.
Later, that work took me overseas, where I contributed to USAID projects in Egypt, Mozambique, and Ghana.
Those experiences shaped a belief that’s stayed with me ever since:
Ideas are powerful.
But building something meaningful with those ideas is even more powerful.
The more I studied entrepreneurship, the more convinced I became that local businesses are one of the greatest forces for creating value in society.
They create jobs.
They solve problems.
They create opportunity.
And when they’re built on trust, they strengthen the communities around them.
After leaving Washington, I began working with local business owners. Although every business was different, I kept seeing the same problem over and over again.
Exceptional entrepreneurs. Strong operators. Businesses that genuinely cared about their customers.
Yet, their marketing made them look like everyone else.
I realized the problem wasn’t the quality of their work.
It was that the market couldn’t see the value they created.
That realization became the foundation of Main Street Marketer.
Today, I help local service businesses build authority, earn trust, and become trusted institutions that strengthen the communities they serve.
