A lot of clients I work with wonder how they “can stand out.”

They’re sick of competing on price.

Nothing annoys them more than people calling just to ask the price and then saying, “Great, I’ll call you back” (They never do of course).

I always tell them, “The best way to lose on price is to compete on price.”

Here’s a better way:

Use the 6ps of customer success. It’s a concept taken from the book “Lead With Your Customer” which for some reason no one seems to know about (An Amazing Book).

From the list below, pick one of the Ps (not price), and figure out how you can “skew value” in that area.

For example, after doing research in your industry, maybe you realize that people want better customer service (P=People).

This presents you with an opportunity to GO ALL IN on the customer service angle. Position your product or service around the idea of amazing customer experience and communicate it through everything (and deliver on it).
